What is BRR? BRR stands for “Buy, Renovate, Rent”. A longer variation of this is BRRR for “Buy, Refurbish, Refinance, Rent”.
At its core, the brr strategy is straightforward. You buy a discounted or deal property, you add value by performing a series of upgrades including refurbishing the property e.g. implementing repairs, modernising the interiors, decorating it with quality furniture; and adding new bedrooms.
After the refurb is complete, you will refinance the property for its new value allowing you to recover the initial capital and generate cash.
